The Brain Injury Association of Michigan (BIAMI) is Michigan’s largest brain injury advocacy group.  According to their website:

“Our mission is to advance brain injury prevention, research, treatment and education and to improve the quality of life for all individuals impacted by brain injury. Through advocacy, we bring help, hope and healing to millions of individuals living with brain injury, their families and the professionals who serve them.”

The conference will focus on the complex legal issues facing people with brain injuries. Learn about the legal system and the protection and resources offers to individuals and their families living with brain injuries.  Topics will include: Guardianship Issues, Social Security, Protecting Assets, Employment and more.

Mr. Findling‘s presentation will focus on a comprehensive examination of guardians and conservators and their interrelationship with the brain injured community. The presentation will walk through a timeline of the process, discuss costs, and addresses each parties’ respective rights and obligations.
