Last month, Michelle Trent joined The Probate Pro team and she has been an amazing addition. Michelle comes to us with 5 years of litigation and personal injury practice experience. She looks forward to putting her legal skills, in and out of the courtroom, to work for our clients. Advocacy is her passion and she values the relationships that she builds with her clients. Michelle will be handling deceased estates, trust administration, and probate litigation. She is excited about sharing her experiences and her understanding of various aspects of the law – and we are just as excited!
Michelle is a Michigan State University alumna, there she graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. While attending Western, Michelle was the Senior Marketing Editor, and Editor-in-Chief, of the Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Practical and Clinical Law. She holds memberships to a number of associations including: State Bar of Michigan, Federal Court Admissions: Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, Oakland County Bar Association, Detroit Bar Association, Michigan Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, and American Bar Association.
As much as Michelle loves her career, she is much more than an attorney. She is a mother and a soon-to-be wife. She is getting married this month to her fiancé, who has been in her life since they were teenagers. Together they parent their daughter, Kendall, and their Miniature Pincher/Jack Russell Terrier. Being a mom is her favorite hobby, but she also enjoys going out with friends and quiet nights at home. In the summer, she spends her weekends with her family out on the lake, swimming and boating. Her soon-to-be husband is a pilot and SCCA racecar driver, so they can also be found buzzing around the skies or out at the racetrack.
