As a paralegal for the Probate Pro, a large part of my job is assisting with the administration of several different types of probate estates. I focus mainly on adult and minor Conservatorships, Supplemental Needs Trusts, and Guardianships, but I do occasionally work with Deceased Estates. I also work alongside our Estate Planning Attorney to draft Estate Plans for Clients. While here at the Probate Pro, I have grown my paralegal skills working with our administration attorneys and lead paralegals learning the steps and processes to navigate a case through the probate process. I also review the IOLTA Account and Lockbox for the Administration department on a biweekly basis to make sure funds are not lingering in our IOLTA account and Lockbox too long.
I love spending quality time with my family. My husband and I love to watch a good show together when our days off overlap. I love watching The Office or Supernatural while knitting or working on craft projects. I also love going to concerts and on vacation with my husband as these times are some of my favorite memories.
After caregiving for my mom for a couple years after a major surgery, I was looking to get back into the workforce. I worked as a legal secretary at another law firm for a year and a half. I started looking for a workplace with a healthy work environment. During my short search, a family friend passed my resume on to the Human Resources department at The Probate Pro. Not long after that, I got a call from The Probate Pro and the rest is history.
